Clean the surface and remove any loose materials using the spatula

Soften the wax by warming it up (e.g. on heater)

Fill the base: Use a colour wax which matches the surface colour. Remove a small amount of furniture wax with the tip of the spatula (or use the colour wax directly), fill it into the damaged area and smush it in

Refine colour: Lightly rub a darker or lighter furniture repair wax into the base filling. Tipp: Use the edge of the spatula to recreate the wood structure

Tidy up: If the damaged area is overfilled with wax, remove by means of the spatula
