The SIMPLEX superplastic insert (series 3207) with its hardness of approx. 65 Shore D is a medium hard insert. This white plastic insert is composed of extruded and extremely homogeneous material. Compared to injection moulded plastic inserts, it is therefore considerably more wear-resistant and durable. This special version has a head diamatre of 50mm, but are built into the D40mm housing. The oversized contact surfaces provide maximum protection during the gentle processing of workpieces with sensitive surfaces without the risk of scratching through the housing.
